I worked at Baxter (More than a year)

    Pros

The Cleveland, MS plant is NOT corporate America. It is a great family.

    Cons

Some families have issues, but great families work through them.

    Advice to Management

Best way to understand the work role on the floor is to perform it. Observations help, but doing the job once in awhile will help you to understand problems causing non-conformances.

I have been working at Baxter full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Continued training.

    Cons

The company cares more about the shareholders than the employees. Will cut budget everywhere even if it means outsourcing to different country some of the job functions.

    Advice to Management

To be considered "great place to work for" you must care about the employees future. Most employees are loyal and dedicated, but when you outsource their job and lose their jobs feels like you betrayed those employees.
