I have been working at BayCare Health System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone in the healthcare team seems like Family and truly CARE about the patients. It is such a refreshing place to work because the patients truly do come first.

    Cons

Commonly mistaken for a PT instead of OT, but that is fairly common - gives an opportunity to educate and advocate others for the necessity of OT services

I worked at BayCare Health System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits and overall great company to work for.

    Cons

Lack of structure, poor communication and poor management. Techs get bullied to the point of crying and management just shrugs it off. Very upsetting and unprofessional environment. High employee turnover due to this. This should never be an issue at a large company such as Baycare. If an employee is bullied, HR should be involved immediately!! The manager and director should NEVER shrug this off because they're too busy to deal with it.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and try to resolve internal conflicts instead of brushing them under the rug. If an employee is bullied, HR should be involved immediately!! The manager and director should NEVER shrug this off because they're too busy to deal with it.
