    Pros

Company cares about your health, safety and also demonstrates that through provided benefits / incentives.

    Cons

Politics govern direction of projects, at times is counter productive and undermines the science. Science caters to marketing goals, which is good and bad. Managers tend to over stretch claims of the research for sake of making their specific group look good and boost their own careers.

    Advice to Management

Employee professional development needs to be taken more seriously. Also, the employees really need to understand the role they play within the scientific pipeline and be more integrated into bayer business goals/culture.
