      Pros

Great Academic Culture Opportunities to advance Easily able to transfer Decent Pay for the cost of living Very fair HR Department President is honest, and really tried to uphold and enforce a certain standard across Baylor.

      Cons

Management Training is basic, and not closely monitored. Tuition Assistance could be better, considering it is an Academic institution Perks are very local and not supportive of diverse consumers. Parking rates are expensive

Stable environment, limited options to "climb the ladder"

      Pros

Overall a happy, encouraging environment with great benefits. BCM is fully supportive of diversity, honest in it's practices, and an absolute A+ employer to work for

      Cons

Compensation rules and promotions are strange, however that may partly be due to working at an affiliated hospital. Employees seem to stagnate at BCM and not climb the ladder as quickly as they do at other institutions in the Texas Medical Center.
