    Pros

The management is not only the most ethical I've ever encountered but they are also so personable to their employees. They also seem to really care about their customers which makes me proud to work for them.

    Cons

The parking lot could be larger but everyone's nice when you have to doable park.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

    Pros

I have been working at beach camera for 14 years. Although not perfect The owners and management really try very hard to make their employees and customers happy. They are good people who do not want anybody to have a hard time. I am shocked to read some of these negative reviews.

    Cons

The management could try and offer more benefits. however, they do their best to offer what they can.

    Advice to Management

offer helath benefits and more vacation days

I have been working at Beach Camera full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Company has been around for a long time and most employees have been here many years. The company tries to recognize talent and offer to cultivate it. Management has a pretty open door policy and they generally trust and expect you to be doing a good job

    Cons

Hours seem a little long so it would be better to start earlier and get out earlier.

    Advice to Management

Give employees attainable goals with clearer roadmaps and guidance to achieving them.
    Get more technology/ IT resources.
    Do more trainings.

    Pros

    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

Nice people to work with, although there is a lot of withholding of information, so learning how things operate is extremely difficult.

    Cons

Odd hours of operation. Working until 7:00 pm 4 nights a week is unacceptable. Almost no paid time off. 2 sick days per year?

    Advice to Management

I don't see things changing in a meaningful way in the near future. The culture is skewed to accommodate the background of the majority of the employees. Outsiders will always be outsiders.

    Pros

The best reason to work here is that Monday through Thursday you work 10am to 7pm and Friday you work 10 am to 3pm. During the winters on Fridays you work 10 am to 2pm.

    Cons

To much politics goes on here. No Human Resource department. No efficient way to communicate without getting in trouble. If that doesn't happen then it's because you suggested an idea and had stolen from you and therefore you don't get credit for it. Way to many excuses at this place. They kill any innovative ideas.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to do a corporate restructure of the whole company and make all employees re-interview for their position. Hire more developers as well since this is an e-commerce website.
