Pros
Great people Collaborative Work for a company that helps people
Cons
Difficult timelines Can be chaotic
- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
In a foxhole during a battle you can only trust yourself and those around you to survive. There is great camaraderie created by shared-suffering and gallows humor that bind the workers together. You'd take a bullet for your buddy in that foxhole and know they'd reciprocate. Good, talented and honest people populate the Beachbody foxholes.
Cons
Meanwhile miles away, generals and mid-level commanders are sipping martinis and thinking of the politics of each move as they play Stratego with your work life. The young (and mostly inexperienced) Account people are played like pawns, barely learning their product before they are moved to another and expected to somehow succeed with little or no training. Those in the trenches are faceless cannon folder. A seemingly endless supply of fresh innocents are brought in to replace them with little learned in the process.

Pros
(some) Great people work there Remote first company Fair compensation
Cons
Moves way too fast with rollouts, ideas, campaigns (unrealistic timelines) Doing business as if its the early 2000s Brand deterioration No regard for people working in different time zones than the West Coast

Pros
Good culture Nice people Lots to stay busy with Work life balance
Cons
Need to relook at marketing strategy to increase revenue.

Pros
Decent benefits and access to on-site gym
Cons
Due to BB being a privately owned by two very rich white guys, things can only happen at the end of the day if they got their direct approval. And I mean, direct. It felt frustrating to experience this micro-managing on a daily basis when trying to push the needle in any direction. Teams would work hard on ideas only to get them rejected / denied because of the owners' personal opinions (and I mean personal). I Once getting to know people from different teams, the pattern was pretty much the same, leaving employees very frustrated. The company-wide announcements and meetings were ironic to sit through because Carl and Jon boasted their appreciation for their employees, but there wasn't much internally happening and changing to actually keep employees feeling like they are valued.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Some wonderful talent, free product through stipend, great HR department, forward thinking company. I personally enjoyed so much about this company prior to Covid.
Cons
A very reactive culture instead of proactive. It always felt like something was on fire. This caused high stress and tension for many departments.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Good leadership and people to work with
Cons
Poor planning for big projects
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
$100 stipend towards Beachbody products each month. Fully remove working. Many smart people with innovative ideas.
Cons
Lack of structure and direction from the top. CEO who thinks it his way or the highway. No bonuses this past year even though the entire team work extremely hard. CFO should not be in charge of a public company. Coach Network needy and is put on far too high of a pedestal.

Pros
great product, (some) good people
Cons
once turned Public (NYSE) company changed and became less people focused and ALL profit, cash flow focused
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
The management staff at the time I worked there was mostly decent. The pay was alright for what the work was.
Cons
I worked them just before they ipo. They fired dozens of people for bogus stuff just to improve their numbers for the ipo. Most people accepted pay offs to not sue so a class action could not be done, even though they would have deserved it. It was shady business practice and left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths.
