Good pay, low expectations, hard to get fired. If you like complacency and giving your bare minimum this place is amazing.

Little leadership from upper management. They are just report readers. They are not looking for innovation or improvements. The want status quo. Bad culture, everyone just skirts by giving no effort. Exceeding expectations gets not credit.

Boys Club. Very few upper managers are women outside of HR or accounts payable, receivable. Few opportunities for growth and promotion, especially if you are a woman. They won't spend the money on personnel or technology to improve business. They claim no hidden agendas, but they decide your career path, and make promises they don't keep. They seldom advertise open positions internally so you don't even know there was an opening until they are introducing you to a new manager. Or, when they do advertise and you apply, they tell you it was advertised in error, but then they fill the position externally 3 weeks later. They keep the work force lean, so expect to work many many hours. No work life balance. There is a lack of mentorship.

Pros

Positive, supportive atmosphere, non repressive, non micromanagement style, better than average benefits, good pay, and plenty of overtime during summer.

Cons

Co-worker's bossy attitude. Paper trail in the name of safety. Safety is an overkill company wide/nation wide. Sometimes communication.
