I worked at Beckman Coulter full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Dr. AO Beckman revolutionized Scientific Instrumentation, I was so proud to be part of Beckman Instruments

    Cons

A great corporation with the best in name recognition is the perfect target of Vulture Capitalist
DBS Management is sucking the last drops of blood out of a once great company that no longer innovates but re markets old technologies while extracting as much money and productivity out of Life Science Researchers and employees as possible.
Every aspect of Danaher Management is to focus on revenue, period.
FDA will probably shut them down as they are not addressing current violations due to focus on revenue and lack of Leadership.

    Advice to Management

None, you know what you are doing and will not change until there is no more, and then you move on to another victim. You can Kaizen your way into making employees think you care, but most know you just squeeze until you need to replace employees.
If I could share one piece of advice. "Show Up"
