Flexible, they don't micro manage. (they're too busy getting other stuff done).

    Advice to Management

Spend a little more on hours for your part timers. THEY are the face of BBB.

I have been working at Bed Bath & Beyond (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You work with friendly people who care about the job.
    Employee incentives and discounts.

    Cons

Company hires externally for management positions so there is little opportunity to move up.
Customer service is taken too seriously and you can find yourself getting chewed out for simply not greeting a customer. Managers will watch you unknown to you just so they can point out what you're missing or doing wrong. No matter how many things you do right or well, managers will only provide you with negative feedback.

    Advice to Management

Provide positive feedback sometimes, and encourage your employees when they are doing a good job.
