    I have been working at Bedrosians full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    After one year on the job I am still loving working at Bedrosians Tile and Stone as an outside sales representative. The management listens to the employees and values their feedback highly. This company is on the cutting edge offering the newest trends in the tile and stone supply business. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of the company's strategy to grow and to be the best distributor in their field. The company gives its sales team the tools, support, and product lines to achieve great success in the marketplace. The compensation is fair and you can write your on ticket to financial success with hard work and determination. The culture is an open door policy to bring challenges and opportunities to management's attention. It is a team effort atmosphere and the hours allow me to enjoy a life balance between work and family life. The best part of the job is that they allow you to succeed without micro managing you. They set the bar high enough and structure the commission to make you work hard for that dollar but the stress level is minimal so long as you are following the proven program.

    I cant think of anything negative about working for this company.

    Continue to keep your customers and employees at the forefront of your business strategy.

    Staff is like family

    Most people in upper management has been there 10 years plus.

    Teach your people and train them.

    Pros

    Good work environment and everyone works hard together
    Sales reps have good opportunities to make good amount of commission. Doesn't come easy but nothing comes easy.
    You work hard, Yo can advance within the company.

    Cons

    Wish they matched 401k plan they offer.

    I worked at Bedrosians full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Make good commission checks if you have good sales. Contractors bring sales people food on Saturdays which helps because no one can ever take a lunch. Some of the staff are willing to help you, which was really helpful. They better train you than the manager. You have a consistent schedule which is great!

    Cons

    There is no consistency with the manager. Like previous reviews it depends on her mood. A lot of e-mails are sent that contradict herself. She gets upset when staff take breaks when they are suppose to!!! You have to be on the good side of one of her sidekicks, this woman can either make or break your job. She will harass you and make your life difficult by pointing out mistakes which made me uncomfortable because i was never trained. Why didn't I go to CQ? She would have done nothing!

    Advice to Management

    Train your manager, get rid of the woman, have employee moral, don't instill fear to staff, and have an actual training system not that history of bedrosians of the family.

    Freedom to work with top customers in Tile Industry

    Cons

    Top management and regional managers have Strategic alignment issues and poor focus on How to reach goals. Communication is poor through most levels. Execution is lacking on key or core issues.

    Advice to Management

    Simplify order entry and layers of internal customer service procedures. Process is costly as to net gains.
    Managers would benefit from leadership training.

    Good Slab Products and cheap Chinese mfg. tile

    Cons

    Ownership treat employees like slaves, poor management, massive turnover rate.
    The company’s retail sales compete with outside sales, as a result, dealers and retailers are constantly undersold, resulting in a very poor reputation with B2B clients in the marketplace. Every vehicle is tracked, via satellite and everyone is questioned about their whereabouts, no matter how successful they are for the company.

    Advice to Management

    Start over, clean house and get some training on managing people.

    Pros

    Beautiful showroom, great customers, As a receptionist I answer phone calls, transfer them to designers, manager, or customer service associates.I try to make sure EVERY customer is treated like they are important...because they are. They literally you bread and butter. If a designer is busy I will try to direct them to the area they are interested in.I answer only the questions that I know the answer to otherwise I suggest to talk with a designer. I schedule appointments for slab viewing and do call backs. There is opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

    Be sure to be aggressive in your training as they really don't have much time to train you because they are very busy.
