I worked at Beiersdorf full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great brand and products. Quite fast desision making. A lot of local projects that are driven and executes by local teams. Overall very good school of classic marketing.

    Cons

Top management is very political, promotiong only "favourite" people, others sit in one place for ages. Salaries are lower vs market average. People in local affiliates get less benefits vs head office in Germany. Very weak HR department, they only hire people, but don't get involved into people development or conflicts in other departments. Career development depends only on your boss, if this person is not intrested - that's your problem.
