    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Bekk Consulting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

BEKK is a great place to start your career. They are very focused on sharing knowledge and having an active community. The people there are very friendly and good at their job. They usually try to sell in full teams instead of bodyshopping if that is your thing. You will learn a lot if this is your first full time employment.

    Cons

Most of their projects are very conservative and the work can become quite dull after a while. Not always competitive salaries (though they have other benefits).

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Bekk Consulting full-time

    Pros

A fantastic company culture. They do a fantastic job of bringing in newly graduated engineers and giving them both freedom and responsibility to build great things, without being pushy on hours.

    Cons

You're still a consultant, so you still have to "bring your consulting guard" and you can't always have the impact and push you want.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Bekk Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Highly-skilled colleagues. Open culture for sharing technical experiences and giving personal feedback. Good opportunities for personal development through frequent hack nights and conference days. Competetive benefits and salary.

    Cons

Pressure for achievement which can be both motivating and exhausting. Emphasize extroversion and outgoingness over technical skill and ability to focus in its employees.

    Advice to Management

Remember to appreciate the employees who is not ambitious and does not aim for leader positions. They can still be very passionate about their work and a great asset to the company.

I worked at Bekk Consulting (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Some of the best and most passionate software developers in Norway.
    - Young environment with lots of social happenings.

    Cons

    - It's a consultancy after all and even though they try to promote themselves as setting their employees first, some get stuck in boring projects

I worked at Bekk Consulting as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have a great learning environment. You have many opportunities to dig deeper into things, and there are lots of talented people there. BEKK has many interesting clients.

    Cons

The pace wasn't that high, but then again I was only an intern.

    Pros

They care about you and want you too learn and thrive. They give back to their employees in many ways. They have cool projects which really challange you. If you think your smart, you will find someone smarter than you in this company, and that is really good.

    Cons

You are still an consultant. Would be fun to work on a product. But I get to do that at the customer. Its not like its big career opportunities here, but you will advance a lot in your technical skill!
