I worked at Belcan full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, competitive pay, friendly and knowledgeable coworkers. I enjoyed working for Belcan for 12 years.

    Cons

Like most contract based companies they are susceptible to economic downturns like the virus pandemic but they explore all avenues before let people go.

I worked at Belcan full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Extremely relaxed working environment. As long as you do your job, management had no issues. Flexible work schedule, good office ecosystem.

    Cons

Upper management kept many in the dark about the future of the company and its intentions during coronavirus. Keeping many in office with little reason to do so (as we all work on computers). This lack of communications led to a steady stream of layoffs, miscommunication and a looming fear of the future of the company.

I worked at Belcan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Low stress and flexible work environment. Good exposure to working in aerospace.

    Cons

Low pay fitting for the caliber of work generally seen in outsourcing. Outsourcing is considered low in the totem pole which can be a frustrating experience when dealing with clients. Minimal resources put into training recent graduates due to a high turnover rate as they tend to either be poached by clients or move on after gaining 1-2 years experience.

I have been working at Belcan

    Pros

The only pro I can think of is having a flexible work schedule.

    Cons

The cons very much so outweigh any pros of Belcan. LOW pay; poor 'benefits', if you want to call them that; no paid holidays; no paid time off...nothing. No opportunity for advancement. I have been with Belcan for a year and a half... been told several times by the company they would like to have me full-time... still have never received an opportunity.

I have been working at Belcan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible work environment, Management tries to create a nice work environment. Less stressful than other engineering companies,

    Cons

Service/staffing companies must accommodate changes staffing needs, so furloughs have occurred. Belcan offers flexibility to employees in return for industry uncertainty,,
