I worked at Bell Canada full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Formal environment provides great learning Organized and challenging funding process requires in depth analysis and business case development Learn a lot fast - if you can handle the pressure

    Cons

Small business was an island of it's own. Siloed groups makes it almost like you're working for a different company Intense work environment and long hours are common - resource support is limited Best effort vs best quality environment Cx Experience group is very clicky and if you're not a 'yes man' then safer to get out as you'll be considered an outsider

    Cons

Teams can be lean which requires agile work practices and work smarter strategies. Not everyone can work in this kind of high demand environment.
