I have been working at Bellagio full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have learned a lot I have been blessed to be their for 14 years

    Cons

Steve Wynn built a lot of 4 star 5 star hotels but with the passing Kirk Kerkorian they have cut jobs and quality of their products like towels and room amenities have gone down and the up keep of the property has gone down

    Advice to Management

I know it is all about cutting and saving money but when you cut to the that ours are not getting that 5 star 5 diamond services that ours guests have come accustom to and you start now about your employees and they are just a number work moral becomes low

Love working in the banquet department. Always helpful. Free meal in employee dinning area. Management is kind and coworkers have helped me settle in

    Cons

Since I've started at Bellagio I really can't say enough to express how much I enjoy my job. Thank you!

    Pros

Great Money, Great Employees, Great Benefits. Everyone there truly wants to be there and it's inspiring to be in such a strong group of people.

    Cons

Long hours. There is no work life balance in the department I was in (unless work is your life). It's easy to find yourself burning the candle at both ends.

    Advice to Management

The management is really great. Share the workload a little bit and there is no need to have the culture of fear created. This is very department specific. Randy Morton is beyond amazing and literally the nicest man I have ever met.

I worked at Bellagio full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pay! you are a union worker. You have no shortage of work really, and they feed you a lunch buffet! they provide all uniforms and they clean and press them for you too.

    Cons

In housekeeping you really can't be white... or black. There is the orientation process that makes you believe you are the BEST part of the Bellagio. However once you get past the training... good luck! Everybody speaks spanish and refuses to work WITH you. People always stealing your tips, you have a 13 room minimum you do in a day. (how can you do 5 star 5 diamond service doing this many rooms a day?)

    Advice to Management

Stop treating the housekeeping girls like they are trash, pay MORE and demand the GRA's speak english!

I have been working at Bellagio full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Bellagio is part of a larger company, MGM Resorts International, which offers many opportunities worldwide.

    Cons

Being that Bellagio is located in the middle of the strip, traveling to and from work can become congested with traffic.

    Pros

    Benefits, there isnt much more.

    Cons

Shoves diversity down throat, management clueless, follow union contract even though not close to contract. Managers have blinders on to lazy workers. Corporate seniority means NOTHING

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes!!! Maybe do your job instead of walking around bull talking

I have been working at Bellagio part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

In this company, you will get great benefits. The people there are really nice. Ray Brown, the Vice President of Security, is really easy to talk too.

    Cons

There is always that one person being really negative, but you find those anywhere you work. Buy comfortable shoes because you be standing and walking for 8 hours.

    Advice to Management

They are doing great so far.
