I worked at Belle Tire full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved this job very much! I am a girl and they all treated me very well, but DID NOT treat me better than the guys there, which I find very important. My bosses and coworkers were amazing. I only disliked one of the men I worked with. As with all jobs. Management was great at showing you where you are doing well and where you could improve. I always left feeling like I truly earned my check. Regular inspections to see about earning a raise. Felt like a family there, truly. They Promote from within!!! Benefits, 401k, etc.

    Cons

You will leave covered in dirt and you will be tired. We pulled 12-16 hour days sometimes.

I worked at Belle Tire part-time

    Pros

Nice environment, the guys are cool. Variety of professions

    Cons

Absolutely horrible management and treatment of employees. Discount Tire Co. hands down is a better place to be at in my opinion. Once you upset them in a small way, they do not care about you, your hours, the promises they give you when hired. I am not the only guy to suffer through this. People who still worked there agreed. I moved to another job due to the hours constantly being cut and pay was not worth it at all. No one can make a living off of 10-20 hours a week. They do not think of their employees yet make hundreds of millions a year for themselves.

    Advice to Management

When putting your two weeks in, an employee is giving you enough respect to do that, so keep them! Do not promise them hours and not give them out. It is shady and creating a bad name for yourself. Also do not lie to an employee, tell them straight up why their hours are being cut. Do not work around it, we are smarter than you think.

    Pros

The people you usually work with are great.

    Cons

Managment, and pay sucks. If you close at 6 dont expect to get out until at least 7 and on holidays dont ever expect to leave there.

    Advice to Management

Pay the good employees more and they will stay, you wont have to constantly hire in new employees that have no clue what they are doing.
