    Pros

The people you usually work with are great.

    Cons

Managment, and pay sucks. If you close at 6 dont expect to get out until at least 7 and on holidays dont ever expect to leave there.

    Advice to Management

Pay the good employees more and they will stay, you wont have to constantly hire in new employees that have no clue what they are doing.

I have been working at Belle Tire full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company promotes an entrepreneurial environment in the stores and at Corporate, and is always looking to improve and enhance competitive advantages.

The company successfully promotes from within, only hiring from the outside when in need of subject matter experts at Corporate or in the stores when in a new market.
A very high percentage of top store managers started with the company as entry level tire technicians; many of the staff in corporate positions have worked in the stores as well which provides them with a great amount of insight.

The company invests in corporate culture; still sponsoring huge Holiday parties, picnics, and annual sales meetings for thousands of employees, in many cases including their families.

Management at Corporate promotes a friendly, family environment, while still driving results and holding staff accountable and pushing them.

    Cons

There are so many good ideas fostered from the entrepreneurial environment in the stores and at the office, the company often doesn't have the resources to keep up. Prioritized investments and resource allocation is a constant challenge.

The company has invested in training resources but the overall training program for the retail sales team is not very good, which leads to some executional underperformance.

I have been working at Belle Tire full-time

    Pros

the environment at belle tire can be hectic, but as an emergency road service tech, you get what you put in. Money is there to be made if you're willing to work for it.

    Cons

Raises aren't exactly a regular thing. Much of the time, you have to quit and come back to get any kind of a raise.

    Advice to Management

Management could tend more closely to employee needs. Customer satisfaction is number one but employee happiness is right up there.

I worked at Belle Tire full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Decent pay, great medical... Paycheck

    Cons

    Poor management, very poor management.

    Advice to Management

A bit bias in practice... Salesmen are very snakish. Doesn't have a problem with throwing techs under the bus. The sell means more than anyone and thing. Set some fair standards

I have been working at Belle Tire (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Employees ....which change over the years of service. Young employees at least have morals. Sad isn't it.

    Cons

Everything else. Over advertised. Sick of seeing this job ruin good people. Stop hiring felons. Employee's getting wasted at work....then working on your car.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to customers to make high pressure sales. Honesty will get you further.db3 get involved stop all the games. Fire your DROs. Open your eyes before it's too late. I've spent the years watching multiple serious issues going un noticed..or over looked. It's too bad how they changed. Use to be a great place to work.

I worked at Belle Tire (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Hard working employees were rewarded with bonuses, the opportunity to advance.

    Cons

Upper Management is very inconsistent in company wide rules and guidelines, between stores. One store may be allowed to break said rules without any consequences and other stores would face extreme consequences for the same issue. Employees were treated poorly and favoritism was shown by upper management in numerous instances.

    Advice to Management

Do not let egos get in the way of seeing a situation in its entirety.

I have been working at Belle Tire full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Base pay plus commission is always great.
Many managers are super fun and easy-going.
If you're a go-getter, moving up to assistant manager is not hard.

    Cons

Lots of hours, especially if it's a new store or a high-revenue store. Some days, there will be no commission earned, depending on sales.
Company has been desperate to hire assistant managers from outside instead of promoting from within.

    Advice to Management

Please take time to visit the stores more often and talk to the tire techs more. They need to feel appreciated and know there's always opportunities to move up.
