I have been working at Bellin Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My fellow nurses and physicians are great

    Cons

No flexibility with contracts, administration makes all decisions without input from people who actually do the job every day

I have been working at Bellin Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The great providers that work for me. It has been a great experience in the health world. I work according to the schedule of my clinics.

    Cons

The amount of work needed for the job. There are not a lot of "pats on the back" for doing the job needed.

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to the people that actually do the job.

I worked at Bellin Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As I have thought I could not come up with anything positive.

    Cons

Management- the top leadership in this system have no idea what the staff in the clinic are doing. To much delegation and no one taking responsibility.

    Advice to Management

George needs to clean house. His attempt to become the largest provider of service in the area has worked. You are now like a county hospital

I have been working at Bellin Health (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Holiday pay
    -shift differential
    -education benefits
-insurance for employees who work 20+ hrs a week.

    Cons

The overall communication of the Bellin Health is sort of poor. The area where i work we are last to know about a change even though it is vital as we are the call center for all of Bellin. It is embarrassing when patients call asking about our programs anc we know nothing of it because a department or clinic does not notify us. Looks poor professionally.
Also, you have to agree to work at least two different shift types. So days/evenings or nights. Upper management does not listen well to the end user when changes are made.

    Advice to Management

Please listen to your employees when they have a problem. Immediate management of Telehealth should not cut people off when talking or reprimand obnoxiously to their employees in effort to humiliate them.

I worked at Bellin Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Bellin has some great benefits, friendly co-workers, they gave us awesome Health Week gifts and Christmas gifts, and were very involved in the community (which I loved!).

    Cons

Being a big corporation, there is often a hierarchy that sometimes does not consider the ideas of lower-level workers. I think they were working on this but I often felt my ideas and my feelings were undervalued. This hierarchy also made it hard to enact change, as it had to go up the ladder to be approved and go to committees, etc etc.

    Pros

Great company. Great opportunity. They do a lot for the community. Good opportunity for growth in your career. Would work for them again.

    Cons

Needed better ways of working things out and making it easier for employees. Sometimes we didn't have enough work so we would be on call a lot. It wasn't practical working in oconto when we didn't have a lot of business.

    Advice to Management

Listening to employees concerns are really important. Make them feel like they are heard.

I worked at Bellin Health full-time

    Pros

The majority of people I worked with at Bellin were some of the greatest people I have ever met. I had some wonderful leaders there too.

    Cons

Depending on where you work within Bellin will decipher how your disciplined, how many sick days you get, and what you can and cannot do. It is very different throughout the whole system. The business office is BY FAR the most up and down on their policies. It seemed to depend on who you were and who you were close with.

    Advice to Management

You should be more consistent across the board and if you are going to show favoritism, don't be a leader.
