    Pros

Great company. Great opportunity. They do a lot for the community. Good opportunity for growth in your career. Would work for them again.

    Cons

Needed better ways of working things out and making it easier for employees. Sometimes we didn't have enough work so we would be on call a lot. It wasn't practical working in oconto when we didn't have a lot of business.

    Advice to Management

Listening to employees concerns are really important. Make them feel like they are heard.

I worked at Bellin Hospital full-time

    Pros

The majority of people I worked with at Bellin were some of the greatest people I have ever met. I had some wonderful leaders there too.

    Cons

Depending on where you work within Bellin will decipher how your disciplined, how many sick days you get, and what you can and cannot do. It is very different throughout the whole system. The business office is BY FAR the most up and down on their policies. It seemed to depend on who you were and who you were close with.

    Advice to Management

You should be more consistent across the board and if you are going to show favoritism, don't be a leader.

I worked at Bellin Hospital part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to gain experience if moving on in the medical field.
Opportunity to work with one of the most pristine and leading hospitals in the nation (often a leader in safety gives the hospital a good name)

    Cons

    Average pay for CNA.
Management sometimes takes a while to get things done when complaints are maid by employees. The Medical unit was better than some.
    Insurance is very poor.

    Advice to Management

Happy employees mean happier patients, which means better feedback scores.

I worked at Bellin Hospital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They work with your school schedule and try to give you the days off that you need. Lots of opportunity to pick up extra hours or critical needs. Great benefits.

    Cons

Getting put on call quite often, having to float to different floors a lot.

    Pros

Great people, always busy and always felt I could ask questions. I learned a lot and felt valued. Had a lot of check ins with my manager and felt I could go to them about anything. Great work-life balance.

    Cons

Pay: you need to change to a pay for performance scale. It is very discouraging to get the same increase as everyone else even when you work much harder and more efficient. Makes me question why to work harder than others. People get advanced because they have been there for awhile, not because they deserve it.

    Advice to Management

Pay for performance, training for new managers,

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Patients number one in their book. Good community involvement, fair annual reviews, some dedicated employees that have been there for years

    Cons

Because so many people have been there for so long, change is not well accepted. Can create a negative work environment and frustrating inefficient practices just because "we've always done it this way"

    Advice to Management

Be open to change and promote from within
