Belmont Medical Technologies offers amazing medical devices that save lives everyday. I would not work for another medical device company other than Belmont. Specifically, the Belmont Rapid Infuser is my absolute favorite medical device in the industry. The Belmont Rapid Infuser is the sole reason that I work in this trade. The company is a good one and one that I recommend working for without question. I love the travel, meeting new people and supporting medical professionals that are working so hard to save lives out there in the field. Belmont offers decent pay, good benefits and the team of Regional Managers are a breeze to work with. Great team of Clinical Specialist Co-workers!

Cons

The travel is extensive. You'll leave on a Monday(sometimes a Sunday) and return home on a Friday(Sometimes on a Saturday). The base salary needs to be increased. Planning your travel, making appointments, re-arranging appointments, canceling appointments, shifting your scheduling priorities, expense reports, technical issues on the road, reporting all activities, etc..is no walk in the park. ( I don't see it as a "CON", but more of a part of life that comes with this particular work.) Also, you are "on-call" 24/7. Your cell phone never leaves you and you are expected to answer that "after-hours" phone call. For this reason alone, your personal life and work life are never truly separate. You can't turn it off or "Clock-out'. (but, I chose this :)

Upper management quick to point fingers at workers they dont like or undeerstand without knowing what happens for real. Long term employees being pushed out.

No clinical manager which meant no leadership on the clinical side.

It the past year there have been some major improvements in the managerial staff. It has become a far better work experience, and I feel much more 'heard' and appreciated. The Belmont Rapid Infuser was the reason that I wanted to work for this company. For more than a decade I used this amazing life saving device clinically in surgery. When an opportunity became available to join the team that was behind this device, I didn't hesitate and I'm so glad that I did. I've had nothing but positive support from management, sales team members and other clinical specialists. The company is growing and with that comes change. The company communicates very well with team members as this happens, so it hasn't been difficult in the least. I also appreciate that all of our input as employees is considered and discussed. I've never felt like my voice isn't being heard. The job involves much travel which I love and an opportunity for personal and professional growth. I highly recommend this company because as an employee you don't feel like "a number", you feel like a valued team member.

Cons

If there were Cons then I would say that if you don't like a lot of travel and have a hard time adjusting to change that comes with company expansion(new products, new processes, new protocols. etc...) then you may have a difficult time.
