    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Belmont University part-time for more than a year

    Pros

As far as student positions go, Belmont offers a large variety of available opportunities. It's not hard to get employed, and there's lots of ways to get real life work experience here. It's even better if you have a federal work study award.

    Cons

The pay is always minimum wage for student employment. However, if you work off campus, you make slightly more (to account for gas expenses)

    Advice to Management

Give new students a chance, even the ones without prior work experience. I see so many students get turned down for work study positions just because they have no previous work experience.

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Belmont University

    Pros

Very accommodating for time off and class schedules, easy work, at many jobs you can do your homework while on the job when things are slow.

    Cons

the pay is low, minimum wage, you can't work more than 20 hours per week unless you're federal work study
