    "Wonderful place to work!"

I have been working at Belmont University full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People, people people! Some of the best folks I've ever worked with. Great benefits, time off, flexibility. Meaningful work.

    Cons

Belmont is a lean organization, so you'll be doing the work of at least two or three people. But they make up for it by hiring solid, dedicated workers. I came here partially because of the Christian environment. The school has drifted pretty far from its conservative Baptist roots. Still a great environment with lots of diversity, but not what it used to be.

I have been working at Belmont University full-time

    Pros

Beautiful campus with state of the art facilities. Great benefits including blue cross blue shield health insurance and a responsive human resources department to help you navigate them. The best part is the genuinely caring community of faculty and staff.

    Cons

Difficult to get fired which means people who are bad at their jobs tend to be able to stay for a long time. Senior leadership is often out of touch with current trends.

Pay seems to be a little low

    Advice to Management

Make sure that university infrastructure of staff and faculty is matching the growing student population.
