    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Bemis full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Coworkers were easy to get along with.
    Employee appreciation lunches provided.
    Lunch & learn seminars provided.
    Decent benefits.
    Holidays off.

    Cons

    Mandatory extreme amounts of overtime.
Unrealistic expectations of a single person.
    Unbalanced workloads.
Favoritism among family members in the company.
Management is way out of touch with reality.
The sales force is lazy and unwilling to do their job.

    Advice to Management

If you're going to expect your employees to work 12-14+ hours per day on average without OT pay just to be behind on workload anyways, you need to be willing to stay and help...not leave at 5pm everyday.

People have lives outside of work.

Your employees need your support, not constant criticism of a single mistake out of hundreds of jobs.

Stop closing your doors and scheduling meetings all day so you're unavailable, leaving employees to fend for themselves.

Good pay, problem solving, time management, benefits were good, Health Insurance, Bonus Pay quarterly ( gain share ) and friendly people to work with.

    Cons

Swing shift, 12hr work days, constant rule changes. Training for some areas could use more detail and time before setting the employee free to work alone.

    Advice to Management

Take more time to get to know your employees, before making huge changes to their lives, sometimes it isn't fair nor needed.
