Fair management.. Sociable Hours ...Free make up.. sometimes rewarding job great for getting experience in the industry can open a lot of doors
Cons
Being a BA at Benefit is really not a long term career because the traffic stopping & pushy management make it almost unbearable! The formula needs to be looked at Benefit expect you to push & push the coustmer by stockpiling items being like oh you loved this il just grab it for you.. it doesn’t work! It just makes people not want to come back. To progress onto the passport scheme you basically have to live & breath Benefit! I hate the job! Surprisingly I worked for the company 5 years ago and loved it but came back for a month & could not of left fast enough it’s changed so much & certainly not for the better they ask for more more now BAs are even expected to complete management paper work!

Pros
Really good money with commission, great people, fab if you love makeup
Cons
Can be stressful with commission based and traffic stopping is not fun. Targets are heavily pushed

Pros
Product allocation every 6 months Received new products on launch Easy to make a lot of commission, 2% commission really did help Very good training though, way better than most companies
Cons
Very focused on making target No holiday would be allowed at certain times like product launch or christmas, Uniform did not feel very smart at all Benefit products were quite limiting when it came to doing makeup Can be incredibly stressful when it came to traffic stopping and making target, felt like you *must* meet target and get money off of customers, less about customer happiness and more about getting money.

Pros
There really wasn't anything redeemable about this job except for the other beauty advisors I worked with.
Cons
EVERYTHING! Poor quality, over priced products. All gimmick. Traffic stopping is demeaning and not an effective way to build brand loyalty. Pushy sales tactics are encouraged/forced.

Pros
Some free make-up If you're lucky enough to have a nice team it makes it slightly more bearable Pay was quite good for a part-time job
Cons
Ridiculous magic formula and traffic stopping which has resulted in a general perception of Benefit being a 'pushy' company Experienced 3 area managers in my time and 2 of them were awful, which seems to be the norm nationwide Ridiculous targets which barely take changes in footfall into account Majority of the products are average at best
