Pros
The people in the Denver office were great if you could make friends with them. The local staff valued all contibutions from everyone in the company.
Cons
The HQ in TX only cares about HQ in TX They couldn't care less about the local offices around the county.

Pros
Some nice people who really care in the middle and lower rungs of the organization. These people work hard to overcome the many significant obstacles placed in their way by upper management's lack of perspective. Acceptable benefits.
Cons
Roles don't match what they recruit you for. Lack respect, integrity and professionalism at the top of the organization. Executives promote silos and engage in petty politics. Very backwards in way they do business. Surprised the company has done as well as they have to this point. Revolving door of employees. Before I joined, I took the bad reviews on Glassdoor with a grain of salt. Now I know that many of them are spot on.

Pros
One of my favorite things about our organization is our shared commitment to provide our clients with Effortless Service. We continue to collaborate and work together to enhance the client experience and I get to contribute to those efforts on a daily basis. Our culture is one of teamwork, respect, support of common goals and personal accountability. I consider myself fortunate to work with a group of people I genuinely care about. It is motivating and exciting to be a part of such an energetic company!
Cons
We sometimes move so fast, we lose sight of the human element and don't communicate as effectively as we should or fully take into account the impact of the decisions on our front line. We are aware of this and are working on improvements so it won't be a con for long!

Pros
The infrastructure team at Benefitmall has some of the brightest and dedicated people I have worked with. The team will stick together to solve problems and make sure projects are successful. This is an environment where your voice can be heard, your work will make a difference, and you will see the results of it. This can be a very rare thing in IT these days. There is a pretty good work/life balance as well considering it's IT. The Senior Management team cares, they really do, and they will listen to what you have to say.
Cons
As with any company, you are going to deal with some legacy applications-it's not the end of the world and it's manageable. The main office is in North Dallas which can lead to longer commute times to/from parts of the metroplex.

Pros
great people in the office
Cons
The towson office used to be a family business until it was bought by a larger company. It's line of service is unique to the company and the corporate office allows towson's management to run it as they wish since it makes a lot of money and they don't understand the service. The office is run like a call center despite everyone there having specialized skills in the office's software and insurance carrier guidelines. Everyone's pretty mad because they aren't paid enough or promoted enough - because promotions would mean more pay.

Pros
The only pro was the friends I made at my level.
Cons
Complete stressful work environment. Unreliable expectations. Horribly insulting, 'designed for you to fail' performance evaluations with laughable increases that make it impossible to thrive. They are all about money money money, but it never gets passed down past sales and upper management. They have lost SO many amazing and talented people. Turn-over is embarrassing. They use material from the APA's CPP to 'Benefitmall Certify' their employees, but will not come out of pocket to actually certify their employees with the actual CPP designation. The name 'Benefitmall' is a complete joke. The benefits are horrible, just horrible. Rx's that cost me $10 now with my new insurance, cost me over $200 with BENEFITMALL insurance. Sales gets double revenue incentives- which means the lower-level employees get double work, and do you know what the lower-level employees get for that double work?....time and a half. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh, well, lunch- you get lunch sometimes. Never anything healthy. Everyone is over weight- and then, at the end of the year, in order to qualify for a higher employer contribution, you have to weigh a certain amount and have a certain waist size. It's 'designed to fail' mall. I dont know whats worst- the garbage they try to sell the employees or the managers who ram it down our throats.

Pros
Casual dress code, regular effort to improve technology, benefit options improving in 2019.
Cons
Limited room to actually advance, only transfer departments. Performance is based on metrics revolving around number and age of cases. Local managements only concern is that cases not be 'too old' without being touched for reporting purposes. Easy system to maintain as long as your volume is sustainable, but you will receive no support if your case load is in excess of what you can manage. Creates a situation where salaried employees regularly work well in excess of posted hours just to try to keep up with the churn. Management is largely indifferent to this problem or willing to see the nuance that some people work a higher volume which creates 'old cases.' From their perspective one person who receives and works 100 cases a month is a superior employee to someone who receives 200 and works 150.

Pros
The atmosphere is professional, warm and respectful. People take pride in their work and are very team focused. Management is very supportive of personal growth objectives and works to help employees reach their full potential in a constructive positive way.
Cons
Haven't seen anything I would consider a downside. We are a professional dress code company so be prepared to take pride in your appearance and yourself.
