    Pros

Great place to work. Always a lot of fun when working. People there are great and the members are usually pretty nice. Good pay for a part time job. Always felt a part of the team.

    Cons

Not many negative points to working at a country club.

    Advice to Management

Communication is key. Always include everyone in the communication circuit. Also, let the workers eat for free OFF THE MENU when they are on the clock. The food served for the e-meal is not good, ever. It's always some sort of meant entree and that doesn't go over very well if you are vegetarian as I am.

I have been working at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get to work outside on a beautiful golf course, and you can also play golf on this extremely expensive course.
Your off at 2:30 during the week, and at 9:am on the weekends.
Always get 40 hours or more.

    Cons

    Very repetitive work.
The normal schedule is 6 days of work a week but that can turn into 7 days relatively easily especially when we're short staffed.
Pay doesn't tend to go up very high.

    Advice to Management

Pay your workers a bit more. A great tool cost more, but it's worth it if it lasts longer.

I worked at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's an easy job with a flexible schedule. Most of the customers are easy to get along with and the other employees weren't difficult to work with. You can make a lot of money tips wise if you work hard and are friendly.

    Cons

The job is a minimum wage job and it's really hard to get a pay raise. The job can be really boring at times and the bosses have a tendency to play favorites which can be annoying.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees equally and give the employees who deserve it a raise.

I have been working at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have worked at Bentwater for awhile now and most of the members are very friendly and love to have a good time.

    Cons

Food and beverage is paid tip share and are forced to split their own tips with the management, which is entirely unfair. Also, the management has changed four times in the past year so there is no consistency when it comes to rules and procedures.

    Advice to Management

When hire management, hire people who have worked in a country club before and know how it differentiates from the restaurant management. Hire people that you have already there that have worked hard and know the company forward and backwards.

I worked at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club part-time

    Pros

I met great friends working here and loved it.

    Cons

Managing became too much of a problem and would schedule you when you wanted off and requested multiple times.
