We will actually be opening up part-time Brand Ambassador and marketing assistant opportunities soon, as we are moving to an increasing number of evening and weekend events for our clients. Perfect for students, people with commitments or those that want to boost their income while ...

I worked at Berkeley Executives full-time for less than a year

    Pros

A lot of growth opportunities if you bust your butt and kiss a lot of butt too

    Cons

They put you through a ridiculous interview process, say they'll get back to you but never will

    Advice to Management

Get people who know what they're doing

I worked at Berkeley Executives full-time

    Pros

I really don't see any positives to working here, they are stuck in the past and they refused to see the future of marketing.

    Cons

These people wasted my time and did not respect my effort. I would not work here again. Avoid.

    Advice to Management

Respect your applicants and employees more and maybe your turnover rate would not be so high.

I worked at Berkeley Executives full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are none unless you are on the verge of homelessness or are uneducated. Please don't waste your time with this shady scheme.

    Cons

This place is a huge waste of time - pyramid scheme. Typical "multi-level marketing" scheme that plays on people's need for a job.

    Advice to Management

Stop wasting people's time and stop this illegal practice

I worked at Berkeley Executives full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    They hire people super fast.

    Cons

You are exploited by the company. 11 hours of work every day from Monday to Saturday. You get paid around $90-$120 every day for a year, and then maybe you will be promoted to the management level to continue exploit other poor people. I wonder how can it be legal? They are paying lower than the minimum wage! They only have one kind of job-- sales at Walmart or BestBuy or other big stores. Be prepared to stand for 8...

    StarStarStarStarStar
      Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Berkeley Executives full-time

      Pros

      - Good only if you want to do sales in person and "cold call" customers

      Cons

      - They pretend they need a marketing assistant when really, it's a sales position - You don't even work for the company; you're a contractor for other sales companies, such as Xfinity or AT&T - Pay is not consistent; sometimes they "forget" to pay you - You need to have a personal vehicle to drive all over the bay for these sales locations - They're shady and do not let you know what your base salary is and the pay...

      Berkeley Executives Response

      April 4, 2016President

It sounds like you were involved at entry level in a Brand Ambassador or customer service position. Our marketing is not by definition cold calling, as it involves consumers coming to us at events and retail activation programs. Also every member of our team is contracted to Berkeley ...

I worked at Berkeley Executives full-time for less than a year

      Pros

You can talk them into giving you a tiny base salary. You get to dress nice. You could possibly make good money if you're lucky and they don't work you to death first.

      Cons

They are secretly a branch of a new York company called Wallace Morgan. They hide the name from you so you won't see their track record of bs. They want you to work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. You can't sit down or take breaks or wear anything comfortable. You work in costcos and other warehouse stores in bad parts of town alone and you will get harassed. I suspect the advancement opportunity is not what they...

      Advice to Management

Obey labor laws regarding breaks, minimum wage, and over time. I honestly don't know how this can be legal. I'm also surprised anyone puts up with it. I know the job market is bad, but these guys are monsters.

I have been working at Berkeley Executives full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      You get hired really quickly.

      Cons

Not told anything of substance about the company. The "company" has been in Berkeley only a few months, but you see fake reviews from people who've posted that they've worked there for years. Fake headquarters in NY. Door to door sales job, has nothing to do with marketing. Sold lies about how much money you can earn. Seems like a front for something even shadier.

      Advice to Management

      Prepare to be audited.
