    Approves of CEO

    I worked at Berkshire Bancorp

    Pros

Dress code is business casual, let you wear jeans on Fridays. The CEO is very personable and down to earth guy who cares about everyone.

    Cons

They tell you that you'll get bonuses, but did not see them even when you met your goal. The credit card situation was difficult to explain to customers since Berkshire did not own them. Advancement is difficult, especially when you're not in a big city and there are not a lot of branches and no corporate buildings. Can't advance unless you're in that position for a year, so if a great one arises you will miss your shot. ATM rules are crazy and confusing for customers compared to other banks.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Berkshire Bancorp full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Hard to think of any

    Cons

It's the 1960's inside this bank. Outdated systems. No Internet for employees. Mean, despicable Executive Management who trashes everyone in the company and trashes clients. Hostile work environment. large turnover rate for small company including people leaving after only a few months. Everyone works in fear.

I worked at Berkshire Bancorp full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Little to no stress. If you have five or less years left until retirement, this is the perfect place for you.

    Cons

Instead of writing a long list of the necessary things this place doesn't have, ask yourself how important your integrity is to you. If it is just a little important, a small amount, this place will not be for you.
