I worked at Beroe Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Half decent place to start your career. But any time spent here for > 2 years is a complete waste!

    Cons

The culture is driven by the attitude and approach of the CEO. When you have a extremely hierarchical, insecure and wildly condescending CEO who lacks any empathy, all you're going to get are employees who become tremendous 'yes' men. That's what this company is, a cabal of 'yes' men. The more senior you grow, the more servile you get. The CEO's condescending attitude and rudeness is the core problem around this company.

    Advice to Management

    Learning some humility would help.

I worked at Beroe Inc. (More than a year)

    Pros

Good learning experience but only initially
Will learn how to multi-task and handle heavy work pressure
    work from home facility

    Cons

    Worst work environment
Very high pressure on analysts, they are overloaded
    Poor appraisal
Lack of support, subscription & Database
10.5 hrs of work duration in the name of giving an off on Friday. If you want to adopt the Scandinavian working style, then instead of cutting down on no.of working days, please cut down on the working hours. There is something called learning curve, management needs to focus on the concept.

    Advice to Management

Useless. It will not be heard. The management is too ambitious, takes absurd decisions, treat analysts like machines, manages the company not like a private firm but like a family-run business.
