    Pros

Lots of training, great pay. Guaranteed 40 hours a week. Bonuses through att and through Best Buy. Amazing discount through AT&T

    Cons

Not open to employee feedback. Creative ideas or way of thinking is not typically encouraged. Moving up is all politics, not based on work or who is more qualified

    Advice to Management

Creativity is not something to be scared of!

full time co-workers look down to others who are part time and do not treat others fairly.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Usually great coworkers
    -Stay fairly busy
    -Awesome discount
-Flexible with schedules for school etc.

    Cons

-Lack of employees to meet already unrealistic expectations
    -Lack of communication from management
-Corporate expectations are unrealistic for wages given/available hours
-Lack of resources provided by direct management

    Advice to Management

District and territory management need to allocate the labor and pay necessary to meet the ridiculously high standards instead of punishing stores for not meeting quotas.

I worked at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Taught me to work in a fast paced work environment with a wide variety of people. Also was an excellent stepping stone in my customer service and community relations skills.

    Cons

Extremely stressful at times due to an old practice of sales quotas that is no longer used as far as I am aware.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ok discounts on electronics, through best buys accommodation programs. You really learn a lot about technology that can be useful at other jobs too. It's not

    Cons

It's hard to move up when management has their "favorites." No stable scheduling. Treated like commission based if you don't sell your hours will go down

    Advice to Management

Everyone needs to separate their personal and work life

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good chance to move up. Lots of training and help.

    Cons

Pressure on sales. Daily tracking of your sales, geek squad sales. If you don't sell a lot they will make sure you know you're not doing good and are not afraid to put you on blast. Low pay for all the pressure and knowledge we are expected to know. A lot of cleaning/zoning expected to get done when we are busy

Get new ones that care about their employees more than their own checks

    Pros

Great starter sales job, provide a lot of help and some incentives and if you are a good seller you get good hours.

    Cons

There is a lot of favoritism, and they don't pay as much as they should for sales consultants, as well as after a certain point pretty hard to move up in the company.
