    Pros

    great discount and accommodations from vendors. decent pay and fun if you really talking About tech.

    Cons

    Management has certain disconnect with its employees. numbers determine their mood and atmosphere of a store. pay is capped and its very hard to get a raise. very demanding of signing up a customers for a best buy card. I don't feel like I can ever speak up to management about my problems with them and how we do things.

    Advice to Management

    have a more human approach with your employees and don't stand around and watch actually help customers too. have open line of communication and be open to criticism.

    Pros

    It is a great place for growing up. If you are a hard worker then you can jump to next level and grow faster in this company. Every year they have a contest between all stores. If you win you can go to a trip and they pay for everything for you. They care about employees.

    Cons

    Insurance and benefits can be better.

    Advice to Management

    Fire lazy employee then you can grow faster.

    Great career potential if you stay focused and navigate the roles the right way. The company invites employees to share their perspective to drive the culture forward.

    Cons

    Work life balance was tough especially on the family. At times unable to disconnect. Leadership often over generalized focuses creating a cloudy understanding of what is truly expected role to role.

    Advice to Management

    Specialize roles, focus on keeping your brand and your people at the center of all that you do. This will greatly improve standards and the ability to retain good talent. Be careful not to over manage on KPI's as behaviors were seldom observed before having comversations.

    Meeting people, variety in work scheduling(good for students)

    sub par pay for technical positions. tech positions are 90% sales, very little actual hands on work

    pray amazon buys you so you may get a severance when the doors finally close on your showroom for savvy internet buyers. the internet has made the big box irrelevant

    - Decent employee discount.
    - They send you to sales training which is a great skill for the future.
    - A lot of coworkers means typically a good chance of making good friends.

    Cons

    - Customers depending on the location you are in are often nightmares.
    - The store is purposely underemployed and then the managers say we are fully staffed.

    Advice to Management

    When people go for interviews do not make them wait an hour after their scheduled time. Treating people a few years younger than you like vermin will cause your store to suffer.
