I worked at Best Buy (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting and flexible job by retail standards.

    Cons

Too much pressure to sell service plans, which associates know are overpriced and difficult to redeem

I worked at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly staff and policies. Get a discount on some tech if you work with the company long enough.

    Cons

Few full-time positions. Majority of the positions are part-time and wouldn't get enough hours.

    Advice to Management

Learn from other businesses to implement a better time management system.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers have been nice but that depends on location.
Hours are typically flexible and I feel like I got enough.

    Cons

Even though they promote the workers as non-commissioned so customers don't feel pressured, they will pressure you (a LOT) to sell their services and protection plans.
Management can get carried away with their authority. If your managers are good, your work will be but my assistant manager was the worst and used her authority to make us hate our jobs.

    Advice to Management

Humanize your employees and treat them with respect.
Stop making us shove protection plans and services down our customer's throats.
