    Pros

You'll meet and work with great people within your department.
It really is a team environment.

    Cons

Management doesn't seem to know what they want.
One minute they'll ask you to meet certain criteria and the next minute they'll punish you for meeting the same criteria they just asked you to complete.

    Advice to Management

Instead of hiring managers externally who go on power trips and don't understand the full rules of the store, why not try to train and promote internally?
A manager whose been properly trained and worked in the store from Day 1 will be more effective than somebody who has experience from a competing name brand.

    Pros

Leadership development was a consistent focus. Processes and content for professional learning was always relevant and updating. Using internal leaders and coaches and mentors ensures culture remains true.

    Cons

Political atmosphere from senior leadership blinded the brand to opportunity and opinion at times. Merchant opinion was typically over leveraged in contrast to learning from the operational divisions.

    Pros

Great place to work, good experience for someone starting into professional sales

    Cons

Slow to none progression, cannot make a career, no commission or insentive to sell services and if you are highly skilled and competent but not available everytime they call for shifts, you will be overlooked by management

    Advice to Management

Give incentive to sell services does not have to be monetary, but something more than just a pat on the back.
