I have been working at Best Buy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fun company to work for, goodnpay, decent benefits and time off

    Cons

Occasionally some management at stores will be aggressive about meeting sales numbers to the point of making the environment unenjoyable

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay (warehouse Clerical Aide starts at $13.04/hr) Most clericals are part time so it works out for some. Really smart people you get to work with. Room to learn many parts of the business and use personal ideas and knowledge to improve work processes.

    Cons

Flawed "merit" system yearly raise (3-7%) but really depends on how the budget for raises looks. Will find yourself doing more than your pay grade with encouragement and false ideas you'll be promoted someday. Management shifts very often (had 4 different supervisors in 7 months!) Intelligence in exploited to their advantage. If you want a full time position, you need to wait for a spot to become avaliable and apply/Interview for your own job.

    Advice to Management

Take a hard look at what you can do to not only help develop leaders but actually be able to offer them the opportunity.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time

    Pros

Working goes by fast. Used to have lots of overtime.

    Cons

Managers are not on the same page and know little or nothing about what employees do for the company. Someone they hold us accountable. Lots of favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Replace the ones in place now the leadership at DDC is terrible.
