I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love working with technology and also helping out other people that come to Best Buy with technology advice and news. In fact I've helped out some random people in Best Buy who were wondering whether to get the S7 or S7 Edge!

    Cons

Some of the prices at Best Buy can be a little too high compared to stores that sell the same thing at a way lower price.

    Pros

Great employees and staff everyone is great and willing to help you move up in the company.

    Cons

It's retail and you will work weekends and holidays and time off is not offered to part time employees.

    Advice to Management

Provide a better work life balance so employees can be at home with their families on thanksgiving rather than working

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It was a great place to work during the Christmas Holidays. I needed a job and they came at the right time. Jobs were hard to find and still hard to find. It got me until January. I got to learn different things. I learned how to price match. I got better at running a register. I was a great opportunity.

    Cons

I would recommend that Best Buy hire people for part-time and full- time positions. People needs jobs now days. The job was just only seasonal. It did not last long enough. They need to hire more full-time people instead of Seasonal people.

    Advice to Management

Hire more full time people. They need more people to apply.

I have been working at Best Buy (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great managers, decent pay for starting out, lots of training, fun place to work and a great first job for high school or college student and an amazing discount

    Cons

We dont work on comission but some coworkers act as if they do and steal your sales and that can be very annoying

    Advice to Management

If alot of employees are complaining about the same person please listen, just because they can sell alot does not mean they are a great person to work with.

You are always surrounded by technology. You have access to new products. You have access to an employee discount, but don't abuse it.

    Cons

The standard retail job cons - lack of talented and motivated employees, consumers are unclear in their communication, over-reaching in their demands.

    Advice to Management
