    Pros

The job had flexible hours and i worked with nice people that were motivated and wanted to succeed which was good.

    Cons

They were driven by results and only results, making the customer happy came second after making budget for the day.

    Advice to Management

Get off your high horse and listen to the customer, build report and improve your company from the place that matters the customer.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The people that the company can and are fun to work with, they are friendly and most of them are really receptive to be properly coached and trained to provide people with great experiences.
Having worked for this company for years and making great friends and how fun this place can be at times makes it enticing to work here.

    Cons

The single fact that 90% of current leadership is lacking maturity and knowledge as to how to respectfully lead a group. Focused more on the title than the actions. and the fact that communications between employees and management is more focused on who management favors, instead of who should receive coaching or praise.

    Advice to Management

Step up. Do not be a chairman, in regards to how to show your team how to properly take care of problems.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The associates who work there are one of a kind. Most customers are a gem. & the knowledge you gain about product is substantial in the time that you're there.

    Cons

Although the product knowledge rises dramatically in a short time span.. It is not useful information a majority of the time. Hours are not good during the off season. The company is no longer focused on the customer but rather the profit gained from them. Pay rates are completely unfair and vary drastically between associates. I'd only recommend this job to people who are willing to make money on the side. Working here are your one and only job will not be fun.

    Advice to Management

You should listen more closely to what your employees have to say. It is them after all who make the business run.
