    Pros

Great company to work for and leadership.

    Cons

Job description from day one needs to be explained in more detail when it comes to commission. It takes sometime before you can make a decent commission payout due to high quotas.

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Employee discount, quiet environment most of the time, good teamwork

    Cons

Truck nights and the amount of time they could take, lack of organization, limited or no amount of incentives for the warehouse staff (aka no contests like the rest of the departments had), "blackout" period of requesting off from the end of October until some point in February due to holidays

I also personally had an odd situation where I was hired under one job code (Inventory Specialist) while doing a different job after being hired (Merchandising Specialist). Someone else had the opposite at the same time but left after half a year. I got a little "screwed over" later on and was forced into inventory when they changed things in the back. This caused me to be pushed into a job that I had no knowledge of and I had to train myself and ask for training when that shouldn't have been the case if I was put into the position to start with.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your people are being hired under the correct job? And ensure that your employees feel like you care about them. Nothing is worse than feeling like you don't mean anything.
