    I had great coworkers. Management cared about its employees. Would have loved to continue working there.

    Can't think of one. If there was, it's not significant enough to rememeber.

    I have been working at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Sales induction training is worth it, WUSA, Am tech savy person this is a ok place to work, Nothing too special about it, I developed my selling skills here. Only reason i am leaving is because this isnt what i want to do.

    Cons

    Longs lines, Better understanding of customer needs, Branded Payment, Gsp and revenue goals have to be meet each month, Which makes it challenging.

    Advice to Management

    Management is ok, They promote their employees based on performance, results and ability. Management always helped me, Have nothing but good things to say about them.

    Pros

    the company discounts that are offered were wonderful, especially when having to buy gifts for family. It was also nice for only certain products.

    Cons

    There is minimal career advancement. You have to leave the company and come back to obtain a major increase in responsibility.

    Benefits and working with technology.

    Many company policies make the job harder than it needs to be, poor company direction, poor treatment via management, extremely difficult to promote more than a few steps.

    Remember that the people under you are actual people rather than hours that you need to cut in order to engorge your own bonuses.

    Great discounts on most if the things there, plenty hours, and people who work there usually share same interest as you.

    Cons

    GM's care more about them selves, poor leading, all they push for is sales and thats what hours are based on

    Pros

    Good for working around school, flexibility, co-workers mad the job more fun and enjoyable, most worked well as a team.

    Cons

    With all retail the hours can be down for spring time and make it hard to pay bills, sometimes once in a position and if you do it well management doesn't want to move you up, play games, pay is a little low for amount of work that you do, when its busy, jumping through hoops for clients.
