I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome Employee discount, short term incentive, tuition reimbursement

    Cons

Difficult to hit bonus, favoritism, constant re-organization. Too many employees know how to sell but they themselves do not fully know the advantages of the products. Services for devices change, this company is getting greedy.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring people who don't have an interest in technology. This is a big box retailer for electronics. ELECTRONICS. The same goes for upper management. If you guys hired more people who needed jobs and had an interest in what they sell and didnt just read numbers off a tag, customer service would greatly improve.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great discount, flexible schedule for part timers & tuition reimbursement for full timers

    Cons

Managers don't care about employees, every man for himself type of mentality. You can be infected with pink eye or have the flu & they will hassle you about being sick & have to come into work or you get into trouble. No sense of rewarding employees who consistently go above and beyond their roles for the business. Very unprofessional in sense of pay. Annual raises that are nothing & not based off of your own work but off of the business. You can hit goals & go beyond but if everyone isn't doing the same you too must suffer because of them.

    Advice to Management

Give competitive & decent raises to great employees. Management does not care about employees well being, but strictly for the business making most, if not all, employees disgruntled. Review how important line level employees are to the growth of the business because happy employees serve your customers better
