I worked at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

amazing work environment, awesome all around, good sups and managers, very chilled and relaxed, they work around you. opportunity to grow is big, and it was one of the best jobs i have ever had.

    Cons

i was only seasonal so no benefits, cashiers have the pressure of selling GSP (geek squad protection) but that would be it.

    Advice to Management

please tell the seasonal employees when they are no longer needed dont just stop putting them on the schedule, it sucks!

"The worst job ever; a "job" for those who can't get anything better and a career for those without education!"

    Pros

Flexible schedule for students while they are attending school, and at the most "okay" for your first job ever...Ability to learn about reail and electronics in general.

    Cons

No leadership, favortism, supervisors and managers "steal" and cover each other backs... No ethics or morals exist in this place... The better you work the more work they will give you since no one else does a good job or care about their job. High employee turnover!!! No respect for employees unless you are buddy buddy with "supervisors and managers." HR needs to visit 1498 more often and really see what goes on in that place... They also treat customers like @#*! even though they are the one who keeps this place running. Customer service at store 1498 is horrible!! Some customer actually "walk-out" because of the lack of help or no help at all from the sales team.

    Advice to Management

Send your lazy supervisors and managers to get a real education (university). They have no clue on how to run a business, or treat employees and for that matter treat customers also. Your so call "e-learning" classes that are mandatory; the supervisor and manager give the employees the answers because they say "don't waste your time with that, here are the answers." By the way "happy employees = happy customers" you will never achieve that because your salary is so low and the benefits are ridiculous... What keeps you in business in miami beach is the lack of competitors in that area.
