I have been working at Best Buy full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Culture, Own your own growth, awesome discounts, easily attainable goals, Good hours for full-time, work around school schedule

    Cons

No benefits for part-time, takes a while to find a full time-position, restructure management every few years so scary job security for upper-level, kind of discouraging to those below those levels looking to advance.

    Pros

    I can't think of any

Stressful environment, you're expected to tell customer you don't make commission, which you don't. But, you have a quota to keep your job.

I worked at Best Buy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great benefits for full time employees. Great discount. Team focused environment.

    Cons

Too many expectations for such limited hours for part timers. Job would be more rewarding if employees were able to get commission.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The discounts, the employees, and the items you learn more about.

    Cons

The multiple papers, coaching forms, pointless 7am branded payment meetings, and the countless amount of times them tell you how your revenue per transaction is good BUT not good enough.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Easy job duties, fun environment. Personally, it's the easiest job in the entire store. Very relaxed and easy going as long as you're performing well, which it's hard not to in that spot.

    Cons

Having to keep up and manage all of your numbers and trying to always be the top salesman gives these jobs a "Commission" feel behind the scenes without you actually getting any commission. Be comfortable in whatever position you're hired in because it's hard to move up. Basic supply and demand in that case though.
