    Pros

    Depending on your location you will work with some GREAT people.

    Cons

    Pay is ehhh... But it is retail, so I guess its ok. You will deal with angry customers wanting grade A+ service on their computers, but they want to pay Monopoly money.....

    Advice to Management

    Be more friendly with your employees! And stop letting your position go to your head, and step off the high horse my friend!

    Does not encourage initiative. Difficult to build relationships with customers.

    Prioritize 2-3 day delivery guarantees.

    I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Easygoing atmosphere, above-average pay, neat coworkers, simple tasks, very educational training, sweet discounts and accomodations, vendors and reps give you free stuff.

    Cons

    Lazy managers, useless corporate support, odd labor requisitions, pointless rules, very annoying customers, HR heavily favors the higher-ups, very demanding when it comes to numbers/protection plan sales/credit card apps, computer systems fail weekly

    Advice to Management

    Lighten up, and please give us the tools to do our jobs properly. Not every customer wants Geek Squad Protection, and we can only do so much with crashy apps like Beast on computers from 1940.
