    flexibility, hours, discount, independent work

    managers don't know all of what you do. there's black and white completion on paperwork, either it was done or not, they don't seem to understand sometimes that there's issues, wearing the uniform does a disservice to the position as you arent provided sales or product training so you end up being interrupted quite often when you're trying to be accurate when counting merchandise.

    Advice to Management

    check in on the swat some more and listen, every manager i've encountered seems disinterested and walks away when i'm still speaking. kinda discourages the swat to report to you. they say swat is a lead but nobody seems to listen to what i say, osha violations constantly, spider wraps loose, cages unlocked and it all gets brushed off, this is serious!

    Pros

    It seems the company values customer service over just production. There is no regular personalized incentives, you are only rewarded as a team which at its core builds a sense of camaraderie with coworkers

    Cons

    Both a pro and a con , there's no personalized incentives. While you won't usually be pressed to sell high priced items but instead appropriate solutions, if your customers appropriate solution happens to be a $20,000 package all you'll get is a pat on the back and a few days worth of productivity. A lot of leadership has a serious issue of favoritism, you may be passed up for opportunities by people less qualified simply because of their relationships, pay attention to interactions between levels of management and employees and determine your long term goals with the company accordingly.

    The worst thing I can state about Best Buy, is not about the company, but as in Retail the hours are not always ideal. Best Buy works on work/life balance and optimizes your schedule well

    Great Benefits. Excellent Discount. Opportunities for growth. Would strongly recommend this as a job while earning your degree part time and work full time.

    Cons

    Work weekends and holidays as is necessary with retail of course. Because its is retail customers once in a while look at you as if you should know everything about each department (not how it works).

    I love my management staff. They really care about their employees and see to help us improve both our professional and personal lives.
