    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Best Buy full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great opportunities for career advancement. Fun, team-oriented environment. Interacting with customers on a daily basis to help meet their technology and lifestyle wants, needs and desires. Ability to walk around, have fun helping customers and be active instead of sitting at a desk for hours. Employee discount and accommodations.

    Cons

Sales positions are typically hourly, non-commission. You could be an exceptional sales person day in and day out, providing world-class customer service and helping to grow the business but ultimately get paid the same or less than someone no where near your level in performance and expertise. Basically, if you want to get paid more, you need to focus on getting promoted to higher level positions.
