I have been working at Best Buy part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Non-commision so you there is no competitive edge between co-workers, which also leads to higher hourly rate than most places. Flexible hours, good management. Great discounts. Make it somewhat easy to climb the ranks from associate to manager if you work hard.

    Cons

Selling Credit Cards, protection plan, and tech support. They don't market this so they rely on employees to pitch it with no kickback.

I worked at Best Buy part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The employee discount was the main pro. It's a good starter job and it's a good place to learn people skills. My experience was overall good.

    Cons

The company as a whole does not care about you. If you perform well, you will get a "good job" but those only go so far. You can work hard and do well and nobody really cares.
