I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discount is excellent, sweet perks as well, contests, giveaways , etc

    Cons

Favoritism plays a HUGE factor in advancement if you're not in tight with management forget a promotion, terrible hours sometimes , lack of empathy for employees expected to hit unrealistic goals, the contstant nag for associates to get apps can get annoying quick

    Advice to Management

Lay off with the branded payments I understand the business well enough to know that management Bonuses off of branded payments whereas hourly employees do not, set more realistic monthly goals for employees, being a mobile associate we are expected to know more than most departments I feel we are extremely under paid for the knowledge we posses , carrier employees make twice what we make and they do the exact same things we do, be more open minded to schedule requirements, and last but not least weed out favoritism , promotions should be based on knowledge , experience and expertise in the workplace
