    Pros

    Pay is good for retail.
    Great discount.
    fun environment with young atmosphere.
best job to have with no job experience.

    Cons

If numbers are poor for the day corporate gets mad, which translates to the gm of your store getting mad, which translates, to the other managers getting mad, which translates to your supervisor getting mad at you. Commissioned sales environment without the commission or job security.

    Advice to Management

Chill out. When you don't bother to hire a single sales professional unless they're willing to work for college kid money, your going to have pretty inferior results. Ah, dur.

    Pros

    - One of the best options for younger people
    - Depending on your supervisor, you can get decent recognition for good work
    - Can always work more hours when you want to, so long as you're a good employee

    Cons

    - Requires some late hours from fall to spring
    - Will sometimes schedule you to work more hours than you wanted
    - Annoying not knowing my next week's schedule until a few days out
    - Not on commission, yet there's always pressure to hit daily goals as a department

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a financial reward for employees who carry a department with their sales. Paying your most talented employees relatively equal to your worst only gives the better employees reasons to leave the company.
