I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible schedule
    Store monthly bonus
discount is awesome 5% above whole sale.
    Hires in the company
    Managers bonus
    Awesome employees

    Cons

I wouldn't have any cons a few years ago but the company is getting worse with trusting its employees.
Pay just is not competitive anymore
    Corporate micromanages everything

    Advice to Management

I don't have any advice for managers since they do not control the problems that exist in best buy. Although Corporate should take steps to provide 1% sale bonus to its employees considering how much training they have to go through just to make minimum wage. They used to pay well but in the last few years they have become so focused on stock and ignoring their employees that the company is going to have issues in the future.

I worked at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you put in the work, and your results show you have nothing to worry about.
The possibilities for advancement are there. Please remember this is in retail, so directly helping/dealing with people is going to happen, unless you work in the back (inventory).
They were quite flexible with my schedule. (I did work at least 30 hours a week for the most part)
With the right attitude I saw many things get accomplished, it was like a small community.
    The Discount was pretty great.

    Cons

It was my first job so I did not expect great pay, but being a Bilingual (Spanish/English) speaker I did expect a bit more.

I don't have the previously mentioned discount anymore.

    Advice to Management

None, Thank you for supporting me, and for the opportunity that you gave me as well. It was a pleasurable experience.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love working with technology and also helping out other people that come to Best Buy with technology advice and news. In fact I've helped out some random people in Best Buy who were wondering whether to get the S7 or S7 Edge!

    Cons

Some of the prices at Best Buy can be a little too high compared to stores that sell the same thing at a way lower price.
