I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to learn basic sale skills. Always busy, not a lot of downtime. Great place to make friends and learn first hand about products and how retail stores are run. It is a great stepping stone company. LASTLY, THE DISCOUNT IS BOMB!

    Cons

Unlike future shop where you were commisioned best buy is not. Something about being pressured to sell sell sell doesn't go too well for someone who is making 12 bucks an hour. The managers try to help out by compensating for sales by giving money off products or having fun games for prizes. But you can't get mad a someone for not selling a warranty on every product with no real reward.

    Advice to Management

I think management has always been great. There is a lot of turns over but most of the managers are really nice and down to earth. I feel like they should focus more on the team wins more than the lack of sales.
