I have been working at Best Buy full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The company has a strong customer service focus and discounts are great. Stronger focus on the online business the past year. Every employee on the sales floor goes through 4 days of training with a world class trainer. Benefits are good, salaries average unless you are in a mid level management job, then they go up.

    Cons

Every fiscal year many jobs are eliminated as things are re-aligned to hopefully put the company in a better position. The past 3 years they have been in a turnaround story, it gets old for those who stay and many others loose their jobs each year.

    Advice to Management

Don't lose sight of your greatest asset-your people. If you eliminate too many jobs there will be no one left to serve the customers.
