      Pros

Great coworkers, good benefits if you use BILH locations

      Cons

Leadership in behavioral health say they want to listen but every meeting where constructive solution oriented thoughts are offered they are met with defensiveness and occasionally outright derision. We are being asked to work short staffed and take on additional clients with fewer sessions even when weekly appointments are clinically suggested. We've been told again and again that they are hiring more staff, but it looks as though the recruiting team isn't doing enough- the low pay and job postings being up on every site for months is enough to keep candidates away. We've been asked to refer our friends. I'm sorry, I like my friends. Also when people DO refer their friends they have to track down HR and payroll and make sure they get their referral bonus. Oh that sign on bonus, you better keep track of both halves, because you might not get the second half on time. The HR department is rude and unhelpful. I had to deal with them and recruitment when I moved from one dept to another and it was an ordeal. Also moving from one location to another is rare and made overly difficult. If you hope to move up, dream on. There is very little room for growth. There is no formal training program for any location. My previous location had an amazing training program and daily staff meetings- even when we were WFH. Currently? Nah, we have BIWEEKLY staff meetings and people barely want to have those because they cut into productivity. Coworkers brought up the lack of connection and senior leadership blamed it on work from home and essentially said that was the trade off- you get work from home and you get lack of connection with your peers. The defensiveness and ridiculousness of senior leadership is just wild. WFH is not the problem, the company culture of not supporting your employees constantly expecting more and more and then belittling their concerns is the issue.
